Grab your deck and bring your binder. Sessions by the Bay and SD Card Club are teaming up for Sessions Locals, a 21+ Pokémon TCG night that combines competitive play, card trading, and a Poké-themed menu.
You can come to compete, trade, or just hang out with San Diego's Pokémon community. Whether you're chasing a prize, finishing your binder, or opening your first pack in years, there's a seat at the table for you.
⚔️ The Tournament
20-player bracket. Spots are limited, so lock yours in early.
Free entry for tournament players, and every competitor gets free play packs.
Cash prize plus extra rewards for the top finishers.
A judge/professor on site to handle rulings and help newer players learn the ropes.
All skill levels welcome. Veterans and first-timers play side by side.
🔁 Trade Night
5+ Pokémon vendors will be set up all night to buy, sell, and trade.
Open trading runs throughout the event, so bring your doubles, your wishlist, and your best negotiating skills.
You don't need to enter the tournament to shop or trade.
🍽️ Themed Menu
Refuel between rounds with a special Pokémon-inspired menu made just for the night.

The tournament is capped at 20 players. DM @sdcardclub on Instagram to reserve your spot and get entry details. Trading and vendor browsing are open to everyone 21+.
This is a 21+ event, and valid ID is required at the door. No outside food, beverage or cannabis allowed.
Walk-ins always welcome — a reservation just saves you a spot.
