Funk by the Bay is a deep-groove music night at Sessions by the Bay — San Diego's only 21+ cannabis consumption lounge — where funk, soul, and heavy basslines take over the room from the first beat to the last.

Expect sets pulled from deep crates: the kind of floor-filling funk and soul that makes you move whether you planned to or not. Settle into the lounge, shop the in-house menu, and let the groove carry the night — or drift out to the patio and feel it all from the open air. This is the midweek reset that hits different.
