CEO's Rhythm Section brings a full live set of jazz, R&B, and funk to Sessions by the Bay — San Diego's only premium 21+ cannabis consumption lounge — for a Saturday evening that starts easy and builds into something you'll feel in your chest.

Led by drummer and bandleader Carleton Overstreet, the band earns every note. The sound moves the way a good session should: unhurried at first, then locked-in and grooving — funk underneath, R&B soul on top, jazz holding the whole thing together. Whether you're posted up inside under the lounge lights or out on the patio letting the summer air do its thing, this is the kind of live music that turns a weekend night into a full-on experience. Live Band Saturday is a regular ritual here, and this one sets the tone.

Sessions keeps a full calendar of live events, markets, and more — come for the rhythm section and stay for the rest of what the South Bay's favorite lounge has going on.
