Self Care Sunday is a returning morning wellness ritual at Sessions by the Bay — and this chapter welcomes breathwork facilitator Mika for a session that pairs the intentional calm of conscious breathing with the unique atmosphere of San Diego's only 21+ cannabis consumption lounge.

The morning opens at 9:30 AM with a Wake & Bake experience — time to explore the lounge, connect with fellow guests, and ease into the day with a premium flower session through our Storz & Bickel Volcano vaporizers, courtesy of flower sponsor Moon Made Farms. At 10:00 AM, Mika guides you through a 60-minute breathwork journey: layers of conscious breathing, guided meditation, and the ceremonial sharing of premium tea or cacao, all rooted in plant medicine traditions. Some guests settle into deep relaxation; others find emotional release, clarity, or a quieter kind of connection — there is nothing to achieve, only space to breathe and be present.

Mika's practice grew from her own years-long path through breathwork, Vipassana meditation, and cacao ceremony, and that lived experience shapes every session she holds — unhurried, compassionate, and open to wherever you are in your own journey. Shop the in-house menu before you settle in; no outside cannabis.
