San Diego DJ royalty takes over the decks for the Weekend Brunch Experience, with Mr. Hek spinning hip-hop and party jams through a set built on 25+ years of moving South Bay crowds.

A local legend with deep roots in San Diego's scene, including long runs at Booty Basement and beyond, Mr. Hek reads a room the way only a career DJ can: layering hip-hop, funk, soul, and party-ready cuts into something that feels effortless by the time brunch hits its stride. Grab something from the in-house menu, find a seat in the lounge, and let the afternoon unfold. Planta Cannabis Co. is on hand as the cannabis sponsor of the day, bringing their flower selection into the session. Shop the in-house menu and enjoy on site; no outside cannabis.

The Weekend Brunch Experience is a recurring fixture at Sessions by the Bay, one of the South Bay's most consistent spots for daytime music and cannabis culture done right.
