Tonight, Saturday, October 31, Sessions By The Bay becomes Area 420. It is our Halloween party, set in the year 420 After Earth: the old world has burned out, and the last survivors are crossing the galaxy to find the Glow, the one thing still keeping everyone going. Doors open at 6 pm. Costumes are strongly encouraged. 21+ with a valid ID.

The mission

Area 420 is a whole evening, not a show you watch from the back. Come as a survivor, an alien, a wasteland warrior or anything else from across the galaxy. The trail runs through the glowing Everburn Woods and into the lounge, where some of our favorite partner brands have set up outposts. Stop at each one, meet the teams, and see what they brought for Halloween.

The lineup

• 6 to 8 pm: Alx Crtz opens the main stage.
• 8 to 10 pm: Dopemo headlines.
• In the speakeasy: Mat Roe, 6 to 8 pm.
• In the dispensary: Cowbell Chris from 4 to 6 pm, then Nikky T from 6 to 8 pm.

The partner outposts

Four brands are posted along the trail tonight:

• Street Kings. Flower, prerolls and rosin from one of the strongest lineups on our shelf. If you dab, start here.
• Wizard Trees. Flower and prerolls, including a strain called Black Magic, made for a night like tonight.
• Crystal Collection. Prerolls named for the zodiac, from Aries to Virgo. Find your sign before the stars go out.
• Big Pete's. The edibles makers round out the trail.
